The 2016 National Robotic Arc Welding Conference is an annual conference featuring prominent welding professionals and manufacturers.
APRIL 11-13, 2016
Interfacing robotics with arc welding equipment has been done for many years. It started with only a few signals back and forth and now the possibilities are virtually endless. Fronius creates new technologies and solutions from monitoring and controlling energy (battery charging systems, welding technology, and solar electronics). While others develop gradually, we innovate in leads and bounds by shifting the limits of what's possible. For decades, Fronius has made significant contributions to advances in welding technology.
Robotic Spot Welding with Servo Guns and MFDC
The use of servo motors to control electrode clamping and inverters to provide DC weld current have led to improvements in productivity and quality for robotic
- Advances in Resistance Welding
- Robot Controllers, New functions
- The use of MFDC power, leading to lighter weight robotic spot guns.
Intro to Machine Vision
An introduction to Machine Vision.
- What is Machine Vision?
- Machine Vision Architecture
- Overview of Applications
- Application Examples
AlabamaRTP - The Robotic Maintenance Training Center
The Robotic Maintenance Training center houses an industry training program where technicians are trained to work on robotic machinery. The 60,000 square foot facility is staffed by trainers supplied by top robot builders and is home to several major robotics and automation brands.
AlabamaRTP - The Advanced Technology, Research, and Development Center
The Advanced Technology Research and Development Center is a 43,000 square foot facility used for the purpose of research, development and the testing of leading edge robotics used for defense projects, space exploration and manufacturing processes. The structure houses appropriate infrastructure to support these activities with substantial outdoor areas for testing in a variety of environments.
AlabamaRTP - The Integration, Entrepreneurial, and Paint/Dispense Training Center
The Integration, Entrepreneurial and Paint/Dispense Training Center is currently in the construction phase and will allow companies to build and adapt automation for new and existing manufacturing process. The facility will allow companies to train in manual paint spraying techniques and robotic dispense training.
